Sir Stuart Rose Chairman
Stuart began his retail career in 1972 as an M&S management trainee. For 17 years he held a variety of roles in Food before heading up the European Division in Paris. He returned to M&S in 2004 as Chief Executive and became Executive Chairman on 1 June 2008.

Ian Dyson Group Finance and Operations Director
Ian was appointed Group Finance Director in June 2005, becoming Group Finance and Operations Director in March 2008. In addition to these responsibilities, he now leads the '2020 – Doing the Right Thing' change team.

Steven Sharp Executive Director, Marketing
Steven joined Marks & Spencer in May 2004 as Director of Marketing. He became Executive Director of Marketing in November 2005. He was responsible for the Your M&S re-brand and famous campaigns including 'This is not just Food', and more recently 'Quality Worth Every Penny'.

Kate Bostock Executive Director, Clothing
Kate joined M&S in October 2004 as Director of Womenswear. She then took on responsibility for Girlswear and Lingerie. Kate was appointed to the Board in March 2008, and became Executive Director, Clothing & Home on 18th May 2009.

Clem Constantine Director of Property and Store Development
Clem joined M&S in February 2006 as Director of Property, taking over the additional responsibility for Store Development in April 2008.

John Dixon Director of Food
John began his M&S career in UK store management in 1986. In addition to working for M&S in Paris, he held a variety of UK Head Office roles before becoming Director of M&S Direct in 2007, taking over the additional role of Director of Home in 2008. He was appointed Director of Food in July 2008.

Tanith Dodge Director of Human Resources
Tanith was appointed Director of Human Resources in March 2008. She is part of the executive team driving the '2020 – Doing the Right Thing' change programme.

Carl Leaver Director of International, Home and M&S Direct
Carl joined M&S as Director of International in May 2007. In July 2008 he was also appointed Director of Home and M&S Direct. He resigned in May 2009.

Nayna McIntosh Director of Store Marketing and Design
Nayna joined M&S in February 2005 as Director of UK Store Presentation. Previously she was part of the Management Team that set up the Per Una brand in September 2001. She became Director of Store Marketing and Design in 2008.

Steve Rowe Director of Retail
Steve joined M&S in 1989 and held a variety of positions in store management. He moved to Head Office in1992 holding roles in Menswear and Home. He was appointed Director of Home in 2004 before becoming Director of Retail in March 2008.

Andrew Skinner Trading Director, per una
Andrew joined M&S as a management trainee in 1984, before moving to Head Office where he held a number of positions in Womenswear, Menswear and Home. He was appointed Director of Menswear in November 2003 and Boyswear a year later, before becoming Director of GM Planning and Supply Chain in January 2007. In December 2008 he was appointed Director of per una.

Darrell Stein Director of IT and Logistics
Darrell began his IT career at M&S in 1990. Although he left M&S in1994 to hold other appointments, he returned in 2006 as Direct or IT.
